We offer the opportunity to walk, in four or five days, or more if you wish, the last 100km (62 miles) of the famous pilgrim’s millenarian Way of Santiago in order to obtain the “Compostela” passport.
We specialise in the “Portuguese Way”, traditional or Coastal route. On a holy year, the last one being 2010, the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage takes on an even greater significance.
In both cases we will arrange your accommodation during your “Way of St. James” experience, luggage transfer along the walk and any transport required to get you “to and from” the start and finish points of the Camino de Santiago.
This means that we will provide an airport pick-up service from Oporto, Portugal, Santiago de Compostela or Vigo and transportation to the 100km mark.
The Way of St. James pilgrimage is a unique walking experience and many of those choosing to do the walk have no religious inclination or compulsion. The appeal of this walk is its beauty, its thousand year history and its final destination – the stunning city of Santiago de Compostela, the burial spot of St. James.
Even so, nearly everyone who completes the Way of Saint James walk describes some form of spiritual experience and many claim that it has changed their life. A great many people also make lifelong friends whilst undertaking the pilgrimage and most are captivated by the city of Santiago de Compostela and return back to see it again in subsequent years.
Our Camino walking tours provide a unique and memorable experience, but they also introduce our walking tour guests to an active and culturally rich vacation that has no equal.
