We leave Santiago (or prior arranged city) and make our way down to the border town of Tui to visit its 11th century Cathedral. We then cross the border into Portugal and visit the ancient town of Valenca do Minho. We have lunch in the walled core of the town and walk its narrow alley roads. Back over to the Spanish side we visit the celtic “castros” of Monte Santa Tecla. Driving back up we take the coastal route and make a final stop in the port town Baiona.
